The VEPRO CD/DVD robot solution completes the almost fully automated operation of our PACS. Thereby both DVDs and CDs can be written and labeled by an integrated printer with an arbitrary layout.
By the multi-functionality of this robot system, the longtime archiving of all new patient data of the previous day on undeletable data media like DVD or CD runs at night. This complies with the highest requirements of data saving so several copies of a longtime medium can be made. Thus a data copy can remain in a local archive cabinet and back-up copies cane be stored in a separate building or archived in a fire proof safe.
During the day, one or several robot systems which can be controlled from all VEPRO stations prepare patient surveys on CD or DVD. In doing so, the viewing software will be copied on the medium, so that third parties are able to watch these images on the patient CD with a PC.
