Although most medical apparatuses are equipped with digital DICOM interfaces, all analog working modalities must be integrated in a PACS. With high-grade analog/digital (A/D)-converters we offer numerous possibilities to acquire such information and to save it in the universal DICOM format.
For this purpose the VEPRO PACS has an outstanding economic solution:
A diagnostic station that is equipped with an A/D converter. Beside the use as a sufficient finding station, you are in the position to acquire images or film sequences in an arbitrary resolution and length. In doing so, this station has the capabilities of the DICOM work list to ensure direct adaptation in the workflow for patient data from the RIS or HIS.
Thereby each imaging modality is inexpensively expanded with a full functional DICOM interface. In real-time, without any loss of quality, colored or black and white (s/w) images or film shoots with a rate of up to 60 images per second (fps) are acquired. If you want to adopt freeze images or film sequences of an ultrasonic apparatus, an intracardiac catheter laboratory with high resolution, or an endoscopy or microscopy camera in the PACS, the VEPROs video acquisition module puts all necessary software tools at your disposal.
